Movimientos present a selection of some the best Latin festival acts for Global Local’s monthly showcase of the best new global acts at this exciting East London arts venue.

In August we present a great double bill starting with Casabella, an exciting Latin-Beat band that has a unique relentless groove taking you on an exhilarating trip to Rio, Kingston and the Mediterranean Sea via their lively melodic tunes. Their music is a mix of Latin rhythms, samba and reggae with lyrics in English, Italian, Spanish and French. Having played tours in Italy, Cyprus and France and releasing their album “A Flower” under the label “CM Records” in Europe, Australia, India and North America they are ready to take London by storm.
And we also welcome the fantastic Katy and The Mamboleros.
A crack band of some of London's finest musicians join celebrated Chilean singer Katy Prado for this blistering new project. A magical blend of 50's Cuban music fusion, Mambo and Cha Cha Cha brought together with Rockabilly and some operatic vocal sounds that will bring you out of this world. Put your dancing shoes and come and fill your hearts with the amazing sounds of The Mamboleros.
