La Rueda

Movimientos presents a night of Afro-Colombian roots music for the future, with the extremely talented Madrid-based musical collective La Rueda!

With Afro-Colombian origins, La Rueda is a musical gathering in Madrid, Spain, taking Caribbean and African native instruments and rhythms and mixing them with electronic beats live to devastating effect. Combining indigenous and African ancestral legacies with modern psychedelic and electronic textures, La Rueda create futuristic soundscapes for the dancefloor.

London-based community dance group Talentos will be providing that extra little bit of visual flair, complementing La Rueda’s folkloric roots!

DJs Cal Jader & Carlitos Niño will also be on hand, keeping things moving before and after.
