We're back at our spiritual South London home @ CLF Art Cafe - Bussey Building as we host Madrid’s finest exponents of Cumbia and Tropical beats Guacamayo Tropical who have been smashing the tropical scene in Madrid for 6 years now - spreading the traditions of Latin-American and Tropical music, merging them with new rhythms and flavours.

Somos Guerreras: Rebeca Lane, Nakury, Audry Funk - London debut!

Founded as a series of workshops, talks and concerts for the empowerment of women in Central American and Mexican hip-hop culture, Somos Guerreras was soon consolidated as a collective of seasoned artists comprised of rappers Rebeca Lane (Guatemala), Nakury (Costa Rica) and Audry Funk (Mexico). From the beginning, the crew has focused on providing spaces of reflection, honing in on the challenges faced by women in hip-hop to find creative solutions and establish new alliances.

Fresh off the back of their latest album release we are incredibly excited to welcome The Bongo Hop as they take us on a transatlantic journey through the sounds of the Afro-Caribbean diaspora, alongside Imperio Bamba, the London based group whose Latin American roots are championed through their psychedelic cumbia sounds.
