For a one-off sunday afternoon - evening special Baila Con Dios returns to the Lockside Lounge for a rare UK appearance from NYC's Uproot Andy. The Brooklyn based DJ/Producer is the co-founder of Que Bajo, the NYC based party that helped pioneer the Global Bass movement with its all embracing approach to global electronic music. He's toured all over the world and recently represented his global bass sound at the Red Bull Music Academy Culture Clash in NYC as well as launching Que Bajo Records with a steady stream of remixes and club edits that give the now famous party its signature sound

And from the West coast he will one of LA's most sought after selectors and party starters Panamami the co-founder of the Bodega in LA, a seasonal, global-bass party and one of the fastest-growing dance events in Los Angeles, on of her mixtapes was recently featured on Jay Z’s popular blog

Movimientos' Arias & Cal Jader and other guest djs will join the dots with the freshest tropical & carnival party beats, rhythms from Latin America to the Caribbean and Africa with a contemporary urban and electronic twist.

Candeleros + Tambores Livres + DJ Armenio (Guacamayo Tropical) + DJ Cal Jader

Movimientos bring Candeleros back to London after a mega gig earlier this year, with their modern twist on psychedelic cumbia and Afro-Latin rhythms, while Tambores Livres bring their Brazilian Carnival drums of resistance to the Hoot. With a fresh interpretation of Latin American and tropical traditions, DJ Armenio of Madrid powerhouse Guacamayo Tropical and Movimientos’ DJ Cal Jader will be on hand throughout the night to keep the party going.

Balkan vs Cumbia London

Movimientos bring legendary international night Balkan vs Cumbia to London with an all star lineup of DJs and live acts. Balkan beat pioneer and all round legend Shantel will be making his debut at the Hootananny for what is set to be an almighty dance floor shaking set alongside fellow DJ Gypsy Box and live music from local Cumbia acts Nirk Molina and Brixton Cumbia Association. A genre clash for the ages, this is not one to miss.
