Decks: Movimientos DJs Arias & Cal Jader + special guest Captain Cumbia (Paris)

PURE TROPICAL PARTY VIBES!! A favourite for Saturday night crowds in West London, Muévete is a monthly fiesta - a pure party version of Movimientos, with a dance floor-slammin' mash up of raw Latin beats and tropical bass. From the rolling Latin rhythms of salsa, cumbia, merengue and Samba to the raw urban flavours of reggaeton, Hip Hop, dancehall, moombahton, baile funk and dutty carnival rhythms, incorporating a healthy dose of African beats and global underground music.

Joining Cal Jader and Arias in February is DJ, musician and music producer Captain Cumbia, the "Eastern Desperado" of Paris who is a specialist of every styles of Cumbias. In his Cumbia laboratory he mixes, remixes, and mashes up Colombian styles, Mexicana Sonideras, chicha amazonica, Argentina's [Villera] cumbias with other styles like Klezmer, Balkan, Reggae, Hip-Hop, and Ragga. On stage he offers a show half way between "live concert" [microphone, melodica, keytar, accordeon and guiro] and a "dj-live-set [original mashups, digital mix and traditionnal tunes].

As part of an ongoing sound clash battle with his DJ partner Pedrolito check out his mixes and edits here:?https://soundcloud.com/captaincumbia
