Rumba de Bodas are a Bologna-based wild band that represent "a musical encounter between different identities and cultures, so that the energies of diverse styles unite in a common artistic and musical journey. X Planet is the organic Anglo-Cuban collaboration of London-born singer-songwriter Holly Holden and Santiago rapper Alain Garcia (Alayo Style). Holden’s soulful folk narratives fuse seamlessly with Alayo’s direct and rhythmic urban poetry. X planet aims to challenge the idea of world music as something labelled 'exotic' by Western record companies. Their sound is vibrant and bilingual, incorporating a huge variety of genres - hip hop, folk, blues, quisomba, funk, reggaeton and even bolero.
