For one night London’s leading Latin club-nights Batmacumba // Arriba La Cumbia // Movimientos join forces for one of the highlights of London’s summer calendar. A four hour Latin, Brazilian, Global, Ghetto bass, Tropical cruise down the Thames to a little-known delta where a long forgotten tributary of the Amazon cuts an intersection with London’s mighty river for what is always a truly hot, sweaty carnivalistic sell-out affair.

Our boat for the evening, the Dutch Master, offers a fully licensed bar, a spacious teak covered dance-floor and two large open-decks to enjoy London’s floodlit bridges and buildings - as well as the best sounds from the Latin underground... Taking in the sites of London town along the way, the musical soundtrack is provided by the pioneers of the city’s tropical movement:

Movimientos @ Passing Clouds: MATANZA + JUAN AYALA + DUB NATTY SESSIONS + LOKANDES + DJS

Havana Calling presents Muévete! @ Notting Hill Arts Club

Amidst a slew festival appearances around the UK including Glastonbury, Boomtown and Standon Calling and ahead of Notting Hill Carnival where he's part of the Urgent Union Soundsystem float DJ Cal Jader hosts the monthly fiesta that is Muévete with it's original formula of uptempo Latino-Caribbean-Tropical soundclash vibe where classic rhythms get bastardised and twisted up for the modern dancefloor. He's joined by DJ Masaya from Sweden (and of Chilean descent) one of the key DJs from the global scene in Europe.

Movimientos presents: Animanz + Tumbaito + Luz & La Explosion Sudaca + Movimientos DJs

Still in the summer vibe Movimientos presents another trailblazing line up of delights from the global Latin underground! This time around catch the punk energy of wild Afro-Latin Funksters Animanz, Tumbaito bring heavyweight musicianship to their Latin Funk and live Drum 'n' Bass plus new collective Luz & The Explosion Sudaca with a potent blend of Rumba Flamenco and Latin beats. Whilst on the decks DJ Cal Jader drops anything from Cumbia to Samba, Dancehall, Salsa and Tropical bass.

Movimientos presents: Colomboloco + Dila V & The Odd Beats + Los Dos Amigos

Movimientos turns to the east for a distinctly gypsy inspired line up of local talent and friends from the global scene. Colomboloco headline combining their gyspy-folk inspired Italian - Spanish cabaret sound with Latin roots and diverse musical talents. Dila V & The Oddbeats weave haunting waves of melodious Turkish folk, Balkan rhythms, Rebetiko and Bolero beats; making for an enchanting blend of ancient Eastern and global sounds. Whilst Los Dos Amigos bring their swinging Latin Pachanga to rock out Rumba and Cumbia.
