¡Muévete! with La Vecina & Ivicore

¡Muévete! is a monthly fiesta in West London, presented by Movimientos with a mash-up of dancefloor heavy Latin beats and tropical bass with the spirit of carnival. Taking over hosting duties this month we have the masterful La Vecina!

La Vecina’s love of music and dancing have led her to experiment with different rhythms and melodies, looking for those traditional beats and modern fusions worthy of the urban dancefloor. Growing up in Colombia her sets are full of Afro-Colombian rhythms, cumbia and hard salsa, however she’s always looking to explore the constant dialogue between Latin America, Africa and the Caribbean, building bridges in the dance!

DJ Ivicore will be joining La Vecina at the decks, channeling her Venezuelan, Caribbean and UK influences into her fiery mixes.

Salsa / Cumbia / Merengue / Reggaeton / Brazilian beats / Carnival bass / Afrobeats & Afropop / Dancehall / Soca / Global Bass
