These 5 musicians from Parisian suburbs will take you to a 100% tropical party with their riffs guitar and their powerful rhythmic.

First World Pros are an explosive new musical team from Brighton, UK. Their music is loud, fast, rhythmic and melodious, filtering western pop, rock, electronica and punk through the prism of African music. Their songs focus on the mundanities, phenomenon and obsessions of life in the ‘First World’ and are in turns comic, angry and life affirming. Including members of Django Spears, Carnival Collective and Mumford and Sons touring band, they are a live spectacle to make you laugh, think and dance.

Soul, Rock and African Blues."Growing up with an obsession for the 60s and
the music of Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd, Sifaka’s sound unleashes powerful riffs, seething solos and soaring vocals. Now, in 2017, they believe the spirit and sound of the blues is to be found in the continent it first came from Africa. Fusing elements of African blues with their beloved rock music,Sifaka have developed their own unique sound,taking them to the frontier of the blues.

Waykiki Boys + Camo Clave + Los Gusanos

Movimientos are back at the Hoot with a tropical feast for the senses! Paris-based band Waykiki Boys will be bringing their unique mix of Peruvian cumbia, electro and surf music to South London fresh off the back of the release of their latest EP. Alongside them, also with newly released tunes, Camo Clave return to Hootananny with their 21st century tropical party, as traditional Latin American rhythms meet modern day electronics. Los Gusanos’ hard-swinging Latin jazz & blues is sure to get the whole room grooving, and of course Movimientos DJs will be on hand to keep the party going before and after with an eclectic mix of Latin and tropical beats!

Brazil Carnival Special: Big Ben Jorge + Unity Inspiration + Aleh Ferreira + DJ Tigas + DJ Lorioca

Movimientos present a night of Brazilian beats celebrating the almighty carnivals of Brazil, from the Afro-Brazilian blocos of Bahia to the Baile Funk sounds of Rio’s favelas. Big Ben Jorge will be presenting their explosive Samba-Funk music live, alongside Samba-Reggae drum ensemble Unity Inspiration. Keeping things moving before and after DJ Tigas will be on hand with his eclectic mix of beats from MPB to Brazilian Funk, as well as DJ LoRIOca, connecting the dots between London and Rio de Janeiro with some Baile Funk & Brazilian Bass.
