Continuing our regular groundbreaking nights at epic venue Passing Clouds, Movimientos presents a fresh programme of the best documentary film and live music to explode from the London Latin underground.

FILM: Rio Film School Shorts @ 7.30pm
Screening a selection of the best short films from the Rio Film School this year. New film making talents work with and alongside talented filmmakers, musicians and artists in Brazil – from legendary director Fernando Meirelles or Leandro Firmino (Lil’ Ze from ‘City of God’) to street musicians, artists and Brazilian bands such as Afro Reggae, Lanna Rodrigues and Samba da Pedra do Sal. have boldly set alight every stage they’ve played in the last year with their unconventional blend of Rumba-Flamenco enriched with reggae, swing and hip hop. Lambeth Country Show After Party - Mestre Chacon & Baque de Axé + DJ Cal Jader

Master drummer, community spokesperson and religious leader, Mestre (Master) Chacon leads the most decorated maracatu carnival band from Recife amassing over 100 years of tradition and resistance - Nação do Maracatu Porto Rico. Performing with London's very own Baque de Axé, Mestre Chacon will take Hootananny on a journey of Afro-Brazilian roots music, celebrating the mixed heritages and diversity, referencing Angolan, Yoruba and indigenous culture.
