Hip Hop Revolucion (Documentary)
Our friends at Alborada Films are asking for support on a new documentary they are making called 'Hip Hop Revolucion'
The films directors Jody McIntyre & Pablo Navarrete recently travelled to Venezuela, along side UK-Iraqi rapper Lowkey, to spend time with 'Hip Hop Revolucion'. They witnessed their inspiring grassroots work, visited one of their 31 hip hop schools, and attended their 8th anniversary concert, which Lowkey headlined.
At its heart, this film will be about the power of community, music, and the spirit of rebellion. The film will also be a testament to what can be achieved when idealism is allied with hard work and mutual solidarity.
