Roberto Navarrete from Alborada Films will be showing exclusive clips from his upcoming documentary on the Chilean student movement. Victor Figueroa-Clark and Maria Vasquez-Aguilar will give talks about Salvador Allende and the Chile 40 network as well.

September 11 2013 will mark the 40th anniversary since a US-supported coup overthrew the democratically-elected government of Salvador Allende, resulting in the brutal 17 year dictatorship of Augusto Pinochet. Victor Figueroa-Clark will give a short presentation on the legacy of Salvador Allende based on his forthcoming political biography of Allende for Pluto books. In addition, Roberto Navarrete from Alborada Films will show exclusive clips from and talk about his forthcoming short documentary on the Chilean student movement. Maria Vasquez-Aguilar from the London section of the Chile 40 network will briefly talk about the networks aims and activities.
