Muévete invites another special international guest and top tropical soul selector DJ Makala from the Basque Country alongside host Cal Jader (Movimientos) for the monthly fiesta of uptempo Latino-Caribbean-Tropical soundclash vibes where classic rhythms get bastardised and twisted up for the modern dancefloor.

DJ Makala
Makala's eclectic dj sets reflect his numerous high quality productions and remixes, mainly full of hot caribbean & tropical sounds, always a great mixture of classic & modern musical selections coming from different styles like Latin, Boogaloo, Cumbia, Gipsy Rhumba, Afro, Soul, Funk, Swing, Jazz, Calypso, Ska ... In short: tons of dancing and lots of fun, happy sounds! His Global Funk Parties in main Basque cities such as Bilbao, Vitoria & San Sebastian, playing in clubs, venues & festivals have played hosts to some of the top artists & DJs from the global scene such as Alice Russell & TM Juke, Nickodemus, Daniel Haaksmann, and Captain Planet.

PURE TROPICAL PARTY VIBES!! A favourite for Saturday night crowds in West London, Muévete is a monthly fiesta - a pure party version of Movimientos, with a dance floor-slammin' mash up of raw Latin beats and tropical bass. From the rolling Latin rhythms of salsa, cumbia, merengue and Samba to the raw urban flavours of reggaeton, Hip Hop, dancehall, moombahton, baile funk and dutty carnival rhythms, incorporating a healthy dose of African beats and global underground music.

Put simply Muévete translates as 'Move it!' so we're not messing around - straight to the dancefloor!
